QUIET TONIGHT

Started by: mollie m (7140)

Where is everybody?

Are you all out for a pint with the lads/ladies, relaxing, pottering about, reading a book, doing your hobbies?

It's unusual for folk not to have summat to say.

There's nowt worth watching on TV, so I thought I'd come on here and join in the merry banter, but there's only me here, it would seem.

Did you treat yourself to another TV mollie? I seem to remember you saying you hadn't had one for a good few years?

Ooh, a victim ..... er ..... a member.

No First Mate. I still don't have a TV, but I do watch things that interest me on either ITV Catch-Up or BBC iPlayer. It's all sport on ITV, and a smattering of rubbish on BBC, which bore me rigid.

I tend to watch stuff on You Tube which hold my interest.

Last night I was watching Steptoe and Son, I need to get a life! One episode that sticks in my mind was Steptoe sitting in the kitchen sink, naked, with his knees under his chin and washing himself with Vim.

I have attained lightness after accidently going on a link for , tricycle and spend most of last night with legs crossed each other, palms together pointing skyward and cleansing my mind of everything irrelevant , Just focused on all that is true and meaningful,
The door to happiness , health and a new beginning

Oh I loved Cell Block H. It was on on Sunday nights at around 11 p.m. if memory serves. My partner and I were playing at The Bush in Ince at that time and, the moment we finished the last song, everybody, including us, rushed into the other room to watch it on TV.

Lizzie Birdsworth was a funny old rascal.
